In the early days of safety razors, Gem was one of the key competitors to the Gillette empire, turning out tools for the masses from the 1880's all the way up to the 1980's. This Junior style single edge safety razor model is likely from the 1940's, and is in amazing condition with minor wear to the plating on its head. It operates with a classic snap-top mechanism, which is in full working order.
